Check the fuel line for deterioration, damage or leakage.

Replace the fuel line if necessary.

FUEL JOINT

Remove the fuel tank (page 3-8).

Drain the fuel from the fuel tank into an approved gasoline container.

Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel joint.

After ’07 shown:

Remove the bolts and fuel joint.

Wash the fuel filter in high flash-point cleaning sol­vent.

Check that the O-ring is in good condition and install it onto the fuel valve.

Install the fuel joint in the reverse order of removal.

After installation, Install the fuel tank (page 3-8).

make sure there are no fuel leaks.
